{Wedding Recap} Photobooth + Receiving Line
Just in case you didn’t already see it over at Weddingbee, you get to see it now.

Remember that PVC pipe DIY backdrop that everyone pitched in to make?

We put the photo booth station at the foyer of the restaurant. We used it as a receiving line/greeting line since a large number of our Vietnamese guests were only invited to the reception (that’s culturally expected). We mostly intended the photos to be with us and guests in the style of cruise ship photos.
But our friends know how to make everything fun! Check out Mrs Pashmina, Hottie of Honor, and their partners above. Cuties, aren’t they?
These aren’t exactly the fun and silly photos that you see a lot of people doing at wedding these days, but I’m really glad we did a more traditional style. I never got a chance to stop and pose for a shot with my new Mama in law. This is the only one we got ALL DAY LONG. Similarly, these formal receiving line photobooth photos are the only ones I have with most of our guests including some very dear cousins of mine in the photo above. They helped me make this darn backdrop, and this is the only photo I have with them. I wish I remembered to take more.
My high school buddies. Again, I love this photo!
Check out the hand holding in this one. Interesting right? I love that they love each other! The wedding planning really was such a great bonding experience for them. My dad just adores Mr Hot Wings.
Side note: Have you noticed the sunburns? Look at Mr Hot Wings and Papa Hot Wings’ foreheads. Remember that the sun doesn’t care that it’s your wedding day—it’ll burn you anyways!
